wow

wow at first i thought it was helarious, (the las and fas and plums) then i listened to it again, this is a fantastic arrangement a classic tchaikovsky piece, its mystifying, i'm sure tchaikovsky would be proud. usually i have something to bitch about but i can't think of anything. amazing voice too, is each yours? 5/5 10/10 (please maybe do a lilium from elfen lied arranement, i'd be happy to help if you would want to)

MaestroRage responds:

Heehee, well this song was meant to be a little on the silly side! =) I was having fun while I arranged it. Thank you kindly, I'd hope good old Tchaikovsky would have liked this. D= It would break my heart if he didn't. =) Ragey and I were thinking of doing a really big arrangement of Lilium as kind of a partnership anniversary thing. We'll be working on it some time, I'm sure. Thanks for listening!

Pirates of the Caribbean anyone??

Well done. Sounds very Hans Zimmerish, def. a compliment, but the strings sounded way to much like Pirates of the Caribbean. Also a little repetitive, I didn't feel a climax to the song, felt a little static in the mood. It's well orchestrated though. 8/10 4/5

Adamaja456 responds:

Yea, this was my first shot at orchestra type of music so i wasn't sure how to construct an epic ending. Thanks for the review and rating

wow

so amazingly heartfelt, and you did that in a week? that def. beats my omega (two weeks) I think you could place with this piece.

5/5 10/10

Jabicho responds:

Hehe, thanks for those kind words my friend! your piece is beautiful, so I think we can both do great. Thanks for checking it out!

pretty

very well done. who's yann tiersen though? 9/10 5/5

paradoxphenomena responds:

Yann Tiersen is a French musician/composer.

whoa

i can def. see where your going with it, but the beginning and the flute seems very disorganized. 10/10 for potential 6/10 for execution therefore an 8/10 and 4/5. great job otherwise, keep it up

paradoxphenomena responds:

I appreciate the Review, Thanks and I hope to hear from you more often.

in my opinion

your best piece. for 13 ur talent is fantastic. it seems like you know quite bit of theory already. this style and song would make debussy proud. you how a very promising career. i'm only 18, but i'm a member of ASCAP, and if I could do t with my songs, then i know you could easily become a member and potentially a huge inspiration in classical future. (please make longer though, i love it :) ) its wonderful in every sense. i know i'm not a fav of yours, but ur def. one of mine after this song. i could go on about how great it is, but i'll let my grades speak for themselves. 5/5 10/10

Zero123Music responds:

thanks alot dude :) - those grades are awesome! =D

wow

stunning me again. i love your style. (it's not what i would call a waltz). i love the synchopation. usually i dont like a single nte as a pedal tone, but it worked out very well in this case. Love the string part you put in, and what program do you use, cause the piano sounds brilliant. You should def. continue this piece and submit it to the mac09 competition. I'd be rooting for ya. This piece is one of my favs. I'd love to work with ya sometime maybe on a collaboration. 10/10 5/5

mjattie responds:

hey, the pianosamples are from reason piano's (it's an expansion from reason). So yea, I use reason... I'm glad you like my style :) and I definitely want to do a collab with you.

Gr Mjattie, and thanks!

HOW THE HELL ARE YOU UNDER ME IN RANKS!!

i'm gonna do whatever it takes to get you up up UP!! i absolutely love the bass you put in, if this was longer i'm sure u could submit that as to being a masterpiece!! perfect submission!! 5/5 10/10 this song better be able mine soon!! the loop works perfectly btw :)

BlazingDragon responds:

Thanks Dude, that means a lot to me. Hopefully I'll have more out soon. :)

great :)

you wont see me bitch about this, it sounds great :) i hope your girl loves it, causei do, i love what you did at 1:20 on! longer wouldve been nice though (sry had to bitch about something) lol :) 5/5 10/10 (+0.047)

Lamplighter responds:

Well, actually she's not mine... I wish. :) If only...

Thanks for the review, I always love the encouragement!

simple, maybe a bit too simple

i always hate being the lowest in the reviews :( u have a good concept, i see where youre getting at. a more elaborate bass line would help, such as making the individual note into chords instead of individually playing them out, and wtf happened with the end?? although all wtf's aside, for doing this in a short time, its pretty good, a little more elaboration could really make this fly though :) 7/10 4/10 for potential (+0.0091)

Lamplighter responds:

Being the lowest is fine, as long as you explain them. Now, it's my turn.

1. You say a more elaborate bassline... I say blocked chords would make it less elaborate. I can't really say I see what ya mean there.

2. Last chord... this was for a collab where this piece was to flow into the next one. I know the chord sounds off, but if this had looped better it would sound more connected.

I am going to come back and revisit this one when I make it into a full song.

i'm an aspiring composer so if anyone listens to my music, please feel free to write a review or comment
