wow

wow this caused me to have a moment of inspiration :) i could imagine the maker of waterlollies using this easily. its very rare to ear a piece like this, and i;m glad i did, in fact, i would love it if you critiqued my song (beware its long, but its worth it, especially the 2nd half) thanks again for writing an awesome piece, and the fact it fades makes it seem like it could be used in a game easily, in fact i hope it is :) thanks again

KTRECORDS responds:

If the waterlollies dude used this, I would probably crap myself, lol.

Sure, I'll give your song a listen, but I don't know if I can be much help, lol. I'm still learning how to write music myself. I just got lucky on this one, haha.

*cant stop crying*

i'm now convinced your a professional, at least i hope you are, i cant wait for that wolf video to come out with all your amazing music, i can't hink of anything wrong at all, its amazingly pure, you were obviously having a great time writing this, at least i hope you did, cause i had a great time listenign to this song. I can honestly say that is probably one of the top five ongs on newgrounds. thank you so much for writing so many great songs. do you have an album? and thanks again for your review of my song, it was very much appreciated, especially for the encouragement, thanks again

Jabicho responds:

Can't think of anything wrong? :D hey that's cool, thanks for saying that. Ohh this song means so much for me, it's the first "happy mood" piece I wrote, so it was exciting to see that many people liked it, since i was walking in new ground with this piece :P

An album? nope, not yet, I always had the dream to record a cd after I have at least 12 compositions, so after this month (when I finish a third song for the wolf animation) I'll be half way through! =D

Thanks for your amazing support, it means a lot.

ok its obviously not inspired by the vegetable

its short, it reminds me a bit of pirates of the caribbean's jack sparrow with more drums, like someone said before me, a bridge would be cool, like if you went insane with percussion for like a break down with background of string long notes in chords, its pretty cool too

Rukkus responds:

alrite man. I'll take that idea into consideration. Thanks a lot for the suggestion and review!

pretty good

i'm a big fan of chopin's nocturnes so i may be a little critical. one thin you should try is dynamics, especially with the repeating base line, maybe vary it a bit more. (lol like i'm one to talk, just listen to my "a hopeful heart") my favorite part was actually the end cause thats when it truly got unique, straying away from a common theme can be good every once in awhile, a key change here or there or a tempo change or two, also, at around 1:07 i'd think it would sound cool if you did the scales and arpegios like you did, but at a constant flow which thn you could break back into an earlier pattern then do what you did at the end, and mke it longer, the ending is cool keep it goin, ya know? but all thats just my opinion, sounds great otherwise, especially for a first song, believe me i know the feeling. good luck in the future ;)

sarias responds:

haha thats funny you say that because in my sheet music for this song thats how its written and a lot of rubato when i play it, along with dynamics unfortunatly i dont have a mic so this is just a midi clip with added effects compliments of xKore, and he isn;t the artist I am so he didn't know what went where im sure he prolly thinks the same as you though lol you havea good ear, and im glad you could hear that :D accually in the begining where theres the scalar part its supposed to be fp<> for each scale, and then its supposed to at one point the repeated line diminuendos then creshendos till the climax of the song then drops then gains momentum till the end

beautiful *tear*

you made me cry, and i love it. i wrote a piano piece with the same theme with hope (in fact its called "a hopeful heart" on newgrounds) but i'll admit yours is defintely better than mine. i dont even have to see the flash to feel what this song is trying to show the heart. if i have a girl i was gonna name her aurora, now i'm almost positive i will, i would be honored if you would critique my piece. this is definately a fav. of mine. thank you for writing such a beautiful song

Jabicho responds:

Oh such inspiring words, thanks for that, I'm gonna listen to your piece =D I'm sure it's gonna be great! thanks again =)

dude

very cool, the melody of the violin is so beautiful, it drew me in as soon as i heard it and the added persussion was brilliant, but why so short :( otherwise a-freakin-mazing

John-Gaden responds:

Thanks, I might revisit this piece.

wow

i'm gonna be honest, this will pop into my head when i do something wrong to someone close to me, cause at least i'll have a beautiful song to remember. its very peaceful, you should get signed, especially if you can do that in 45 minutes

BlazingDragon responds:

It usually takes me a lot longer than 45 minutes to write a song, but I was truly inspired. I don't think I've *ever* writting a two minute long song that fast...Sometimes I'll spend five or more hours straight to put out a single track. This is an exception. I would love to get signed and compose music for film soundtracks; I believe that this would be very fitting in a film where the main character hurts the girl he loves and feels great remorse for it.

Thank you for the inspiring review. PM me when your track is finally out and I'll drop a review! :D

dude :)

i loved it, i can relate to having a rough time with beginnings, but i think this beginning suits the song amazingly, sets the mood ya know? but i can say honestly, this song made me cry, it made me remember possibly every good memory i've ever had (so thanks on puttings it on loops) i'm sure you hear this a lot, but its like i'm listening to a nobuo uematsu song and he's my favorite composer. songs like this are the reason why people cannot let the art of classical music die, you've really put a smile on my face and a tear down my cheeck, thank you so much

BlazingDragon responds:

Thanks Dude! (Pun intended :P) I appreciate the review and positive comment regarding the intro. I DO get compared to Nobuo Uematsu very frequently, which isn't a bad thing. He is amazing! While this isn't strictly classical (More like "easy listening piano") I understand and agree with your comment on why people cannot let it die. I find it incredible that my music can actually inspire tears.

Again, thank you for the review!

PS. I noticed that it said the following on your profile: "i'man aspiring composer so if anyone listens to my music, please feel free to write a review or comment" If so, where is the music? I wanted to hear some of it. :(

legend of zelda much?

sounds like the super smash brothers melee hyrule theme a bit, i'm a big fan of dark music and i think yout did it justice near the end

brujeria responds:

dude listen to hanger 18 by megadeth because i used those chords to make the song not legend of zelda, i think somebody here play too many video games, thanks for the compliment though, I mean there is one thing you must keep in mind here I AM A MUSICIAN, video games are not a major part of my life music is,so... while it is kinda cool to read people constintly ranting of how my music sounds like a song from a video game, it gets kinda annoying after a while you are like the 30th person to tell me that it sounds like a song from super smash brothers.

i'm an aspiring composer so if anyone listens to my music, please feel free to write a review or comment
