Pretty

I like the fact you did a chord change at 0:57, and the more complicated harmony at the end really accented the melody, which a great harmony is supposed to do. My only complaint is i thought the nding could've been more developed.If this is how creative you are, I truly cant wait to see how the collaboration goes :) you definately have a great gift of composition. don't you dare lose it. 9/10, 5/5

very nice

sounds beautiful, hopefully we'll end up in the same collab. the loop works beautifully. even though the i-vii- VI- V (i think i noticed you throwing the dominant in there for the V) is simple you did it beautifully. I could listen to it all day. (at least u used more chords than i did :) )

i think the squeak works in your favor

It makes it seem like your in an old house you moved away from and its old and squeaky, but you still remember the b-e-a-utiful memories inside of it. This piece is absolutely amazing. is it published? I cried during this man, (i know i'm a softy). but i could feel so much emotion come from this piece. Thanks dude for writing it, it is truly one of the better songs on newgrounds. 5/5 10/10 (+o.o54) you definately deserve it

Very Pretty

I think it does follow the story quite fully. You have a very romantic outlook of music. Very nice violins in about 2:35 with the countermelody. I think the clarinet could've been used more. Also, the ending I thought was a bit abrupt. With a romantic and beautiful moment of the story like that, I would maybe try to pull of a "Firebird Suite" Finale by means of the overly exaggerated dynamics and tempo changes. The beginning caught me by shock, but I like that effect :). I think you have something great going. The ending could be more dramatic, but thats my only complaint. I myself compose in the impressionistic style, so it's nice to hear a romantic (sort of russian nationalistic) style that you have. GOOD JOB :)

It's funny that you say that I have a romantic view of music, especially since this is the first time out of 50 songs that I've ever tried to actually make a slow romantic song. Most of my songs either had a battle part or were battle-songs all around. OMG if you heard my earlier work, your mouth would drop at what I'm making now.

I should have used the clarinet more, but now I gotta do my insane finale. There probably won't be much in the way of tempo changes, although there will be some. However, there will be plenty of dynamics, plenty of crashes, plenty of brass, plenty of everything. I can feel it coming together in my head, although very very vaguely.

are you the one who performed this piece? because it's beautiful. You have a truly debussy oriented taste, and i love it. It also reminds me of five for fighting a little bit. but it is beautiful. i should be done my next piece soon, so i'll update u on that. this piece is amazing, how u only have a 4.11 at the moment blows my mind. 5/5 and 10/10

very pretty

It's very calm, and, well i guess "stationary" i like how u stay with one mood throughout the piece, and being able to compose a piece just from one moment of inspiration, thats pretty good, i love the piano part for this by the way. it almost to me sounded like a march of soldiers through a city that's already been attack and they witness the destruction around them, thanking god they weren't there when it happened. this song's melo and i love it :)

Amazing

This is beautiful, the mixture between acoustic, drum set, and orchestra is phenomenal, I could imagine this being the new "The Snowman" easily, or maybe the theme to an Academy Award Winning movie. I also loved the change in key signature every once in awhile, it made me always pay attention, and basically, it was perfect, i'd be honored if you critiqued my piece "a hopeful heart" you're an amazing write, GET THIS PUBLISHED!!

very very nice, i think that this is your best piece submitted within the month. it fits the mood perfectly. i'm sure even nobuo uematsu would be intrigued by this. i love the brass melody included too, it makes it extremely exhilarating, i love it :)
